Taunting Bears
The other night some show had guys on who dive off of cliffs with these wing suits on and glide down, eventually opening parachutes. The main guy was also some sort of expert skier as well.
So clearly he’s one of those people who doesn’t have normal levels of something in his head (probably dopamine) so they do increasingly ridiculous things in order to get more adrenaline et al flowing naturally, which then makes them feel normal - otherwise they don’t feel right.
Said things also lead to death and disfigurement, but then so does sitting on your couch if you wait long enough.
While I don’t give a fuck about jumping off cliffs, I think periodically I go through a similar thing in my personal life where I just need to take ridiculous relationship risks and fuck everything up - rubbing my face on the grizzly bear that is young blond girls and the like.
I know it is wrong, but then I also don’t really give a fuck either.
Pretty sure I’m just about to hit one of those times, tick, tick, tick…
